End traffic snarls on Chirag Delhi Flyover: Min to officials

Taking a serious note on massive traffic jam, Delhi PWD Minister Atishi on Tuesday convened a meeting with senior department officials to resolve the immense traffic jams on the Chirag Delhi Flyover causing a lot of inconvenience in the prime south Delhi colony areas that serve as the main arterial road. The traffic restrictions on the newly commissioned Ashram-DND flyover extension also came up for discussion.

Atishi directed the officials to identify alternative ways to decongest the flyover as soon as possible and complete the maintenance within a month.

In this regard, she instructed the officials that daily reports be made available regarding the same. This will ensure a fast pace of work.
