Encroachment of three BHEL plants removed

BHEL administration on Thursday removed encroachments at three different places in BHEL Township. Police force was deployed to remove encroachment of local corporator Fakeera Kachke who had encroached and built a concrete platform over 1600 sqft at Govindpura D- Sector Anna Nagar.

The team of BHEL administration faced opposition as they were abused and stone pelted and situation was controlled by police. The platform was razed by JCB machine. In the past too, Kachke had made attempts to encroach upon the land in BHEL area.

Govindpura police have registered a case of deterring public servant from discharge of his duty against Kachke and his supporters.

Later in the anti-encroachment drive illegally operated flour mill over 10000 sq ft area at Barkheda C-Sector was removed.
