Elon Musk sets sights on India; says Tesla to accelerate investment journey as soon as ‘humanly’ possible
Elon Musk, the chief executive of Tesla, said the electric vehicle manufacturer is looking to put money in India “as soon as humanly possible.”
Musk’s comments came following a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter’s official visit to the United States. A source had earlier disclosed to Reuters that Musk intended to brief Modi on Tesla’s proposals for establishing a manufacturing base in India.
