Electricity officials, locals discuss power supply issues in Rajabazar
The power situation in the DVC command area of the BokaroThermal, which has sparked widespread protests, is likely to improve.
A meeting on Saturday between officials of the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), Bokaro Thermal power plant, representative of Rajabazar and few political parties was held at Conference hall inside the plant to restore the impeded deregulation.
It was decided unanimously in the meeting that along with replacing the damaged DVC power transformer at Rajabazar area, DVC will install electricity meters in all the houses of Rajabazar, which will have to pay electricity bills as per consumption.
