Eight hour delay rattles Delhi bound SpiceJet passengers including senior citizens at Pune airport

PUNE: Constant flight delays for hours and no sense of ownership as flyers allege, has been taking a physical and mental toll on them.

This time, it was a SpiceJet flight from Pune to Delhi (SG8184), which was delayed by close to 8 hours on Tuesday evening sending flyers, which included several senior citizens, into a frenzy, frustrating and hassling them. The flight, which was to take off from Pune at 5:35pm on Tuesday, finally took off at around 1:30am on Wednesday.

Devkant Aggarwal, whose 70-year-old mother was travelling alone in the flight told TOI that no one from the airline gave any replies to the anxious calls they made.
