Easier interchange in Delhi-NCR: Single-point security check launched between Namo Bharat and metro stations

NEW DELHI: A single-point security check was operationalised between Namo Bharat and New Ashok Nagar metro stations, NCRTC said on Sunday. Earlier, separate security checks were needed .

Under the new arrangement, commuters switching between Namo Bharat station and the adjoining Blue Line metro station will undergo security screening only once. Metro passengers heading towards Meerut via Namo Bharat will not be frisked again after interchanging. The facility was enabled through a dedicated foot over bridge (FOB) linking the two stations and a new security checkpoint at metro gate no 2.
