Domestic passenger traffic up 11% this November compared to last year: DGCA

MUMBAI: Domestic airlines carried 11.6 million passengers in November as compared to 10.5 million passengers flown in November last year, registering a growth of 11%, showed monthly traffic data released by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation on Monday.

Between January and November this year, domestic airlines flew a total of 110 million passengers as against the 72 million carried in the corresponding period of the previous year, thus registering an annual growth of about 52%,

Vistara and GoFirst had the highest passenger load factor on their domestic flights, registering 91.7% and 91.3% respectively.
