Disheartened that airline took action without consulting me: IndiGo captain who flew Kamra

Mumbai: The pilot in command of the IndiGoNSE -2.27 % flight wherein standup comedian Kunal Kamra heckled television anchor Arnab Goswami Tuesday, has written to the airline’s management expressing his disappointment at not being consulted before a six month flying ban was slapped on Kamra.

Rules say such incidents should be reported by the crew to the pilot-in-command who can then write to the airline management if the situation can’t be diffused. The management then may set up a committee to investigate the incident.
