Dharmendra Pradhan on energy diplomacy visit to West Asia from 7-12 Sept

New Delhi: As part of India’s energy diplomacy, oil minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be visiting Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar from 7-12 September.

This comes in the backdrop of India’s, the world’s third-largest oil importer, attempts to further bolster its robust ties with West Asian energy producers, such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE.

“Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, accompanied by an official and business delegation, will be visiting Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar from 7-12 September 2019 to engage with his counterparts in oil & gas as well as steel sectors in three countries and also participate in the 8th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable (AMER) at Abu Dhabi on 10 September, where India is the co-Host along with UAE,” the Indian government said in a statement.
