Dhardehi EHT power sub-centre energized

An extreme high tension (EHT) power sub-centre at Dhardehi village in Mungeli district has been successfully energized.

It will now ensure stable and quality power supply to number of villages located in Patharia and Bilaspur regions, officials informed on Thursday.

According to officials of the Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited (CSPTCL), the sub-centre is going to benefit consumers in Patharia, Bawli, Kukusda, Adar, Saragaon, Tifra, Bilaspur, Chakarbhata and nearby regions.

The estimated cost of setting up this 220/132 KV sub-centre with power generation capacity of 320 MVA was around Rs 41 crore, informed Managing Director CSPTCL Tripti Sinha.
