DGCA suspends official accused of taking ‘bribe’ from flying schools
Civil aviation regulator DGCA on Wednesday suspended a senior official, Anil Gill, over allegations of corruption. ET had reported on October 29 that Gill, director in the flying and training division of DGCA, had used his position to take three aircraft as bribe from flying schools and in turn leased the planes to other schools for favourable audits for a monthly lease rental.
