DGCA suspends licenses of two IndiGo pilots for runway incursion
NEW DELHI : The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Tuesday said that it has suspended the licenses of two IndiGo pilots, who were involved in a runway incursion incident at the New Delhi airport during their flight between Delhi and Udaipur on 2 June.
The pilots, Rahul Dhar and Amit Kumar, have been suspended for three months from 3 September, DGCA said in a statement.
Both pilots were earlier shown a show cause notice on 5 September which asked them to respond within 15 days as to why action shouldn’t be taken against them for endangering safety of aircraft and passengers on board.
