DGCA suspends Air India’s Flight Safety Chief for one month

India’s aviation regulator on Thursday suspended Air India’s Flight Safety Chief for certain lapses. The suspension will be in effect for one month.

On July 25 and 26, a Directorate General of Civil Aviation team carried out the surveillance of Air India in the areas of internal audit, accident prevention work and availability of required technical manpower.
