DGCA starts audit of examiners
The aviation regulator has started reviewing the examiners who conduct audits on airlines to make the system foolproof.
“We need to conduct an audit to ensure these people do justice to their positions. The audit is to check efficiency of the system and also rectify any flaw in the system,” a top official at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said, refusing to be identified.
Action will be taken in case of any lapse in conduct of examiners. “Actions would even include sacking of the examiner from the post,” he said.
