DGCA asks SpiceJet to analyse engine oil samples of Q400 fleet following Hyderabad incident
Indian aviation regulator DGCA has asked budget carrier SpiceJet to analyse engine oil samples from its Q400 fleet to check for the presence of metal and carbon seal particles days after one of its planes had smoke in the cabin.
DGCA has directed the airline to analyse engine oil samples from its Q400 fleet to check for metal and carbon seal particles and to carry out the inspection of the bleed-off valve screen and housing for evidence of oil wetness.
