Derailment affects regular train services
Two goods trains collided at Jaamgaon near Raigarh in Chhattisgarh on Monday evening, derailing 18 wagons. No one was reportedly injured.
The accident occurred in the Bilaspur zone of the South East Central Railway.
The mishap affected train services on the up and down tracks. The passenger train services have been diverted or trips were curtailed.
A railway communication stated that the Bilaspur-Raigarh passenger special (08735) was cancelled.
The trains terminated before their destinations are 08263 Titlagarh-Bilaspur passenger special at Jharsuguda, 08861 Gondia-Jharsuguda passenger special at Kirodimal and 12070 Gondia-Raigarh Jan Shatabdi at Bilha.
