Delhi’s third ring road to open in six months. These places will get connected
New Ring Road
New Delhi is all set to open up its third Ring Road, also known as the 6-lane Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced the deadline for the roadway project. The deadline is set as September of the current year, 2023.
Reduced travel time
The new Ring Road will reduce travel time to half an hour, between the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway and the Delhi-Chandigarh highway. This access-controlled highway will pass through Dwarka, Nangloi, Shyam Vihar and Kanjhawla. The road will ensure a faster link for traffic, especially from Gurgaon, IGI airport, South and West Delhi, heading towards Chandigarh and beyond.
