Delhi’s IGI Airport becomes India’s first ‘5G-ready’ airport

Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport has launched its 5G infrastructure which can be used by the passengers once the telecom service providers roll out the technology.

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) officials said that IGI Airport is the first and only airport in the country that is “5G-ready”. The services can be used at domestic departures, international arrivals, multi-level car parking spaces and other areas at the airport, they said.

Not only passengers but people visiting GMR Aerocity can also experience the 5G network at GMR Square, said DIAL.
