Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to procure 312 coaches for Ph-IV
NEW DELHI: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will procure 312 coaches for its Phase IV priority corridors. According to DMRC officials, a contract has been signed for procuring coaches for Majlis Park to Maujpur, Janakpuri West to RK Ashram Marg and Tughlaqabad to Delhi Aerocity corridors.
This is a major step towards operationalising the corridors for passenger operations, they said.
As part of the Phase IV expansion of the Delhi Metro, DMRC is constructing 65.2 km of new lines across three different corridors with 46 metro stations. All these corridors will be completed by September 2025.
