Delhi: DMRC’s plans to join 400km club delayed by a year

NEW DELHI: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has been working on a war-footing to complete the 12.5km Majlis Park-Maujpur corridor of its Phase-IV project by 2022.
It wants to complete 400km of its network before reaching the milestone of 20 years of operations.
However, DMRC’s plans to join the coveted 400km club, which includes metro systems of Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Moscow and London, would have to wait until 2023.
