Delhi Airport latest updates: 46 flights diverted today due to poor visibility

DELHI AIRPORT : As many as 46 flights were diverted from Delhi airport due to the dense fog that enveloped the national capital today morning, confirmed Delhi airport officials.

Several flights were also delayed from Friday midnight. Delhi Airport officials cited poor visibility at the runway behind the disruption in the flight operations. Officials said visibility reduced to zero at some places in the morning.

“While landings and take offs continue at Delhi airport, flights that are not CAT III A compliant may get affected,” Delhi airport authority tweeted from its official handle at 8.30 am. Passengers are asked to contact the concerned airlines for the latest updates.
