Delhi airport flights delayed due to fog. Check flight status before leaving

NEW DELHI : As a layer of dense fog enveloped Delhi, several flights flying in and out of the Delhi international airport have either been delayed or diverted to other nearby airports. Delhi Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport authorities said due to the ongoing bad weather, flight operations at Delhi airport are affected.

“All CAT-II compliant pilots are able to operate. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted,” the airport advisory said. ANI reported that at least five flights have been diverted and 12 flights are running late due to low visibility.

While takeoffs and landings continue, some flights are impacted due to crew operational limitations because of the fog.
