Delhi Airport becomes first in the country to have 4 operational runways, elevated taxiway
Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) today became the first airport in the country to have four operational runways.
Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Friday inaugurated the fourth runway at the Delhi airport, which is also the country’s largest airport, handles more than 1,500 aircraft movements every day.
