Delhi airport: 30 flights delayed as national capital remains shrouded by fog; visibility stays poor

Staying true to the prediction by the India Meteorological Department, a dense fog engulfed Delhi on Tuesday morning as the mercury level hovered around 7 degree Celsius.

As a result, the visibility at Delhi’s main weather station at Safdarjung was 200 metres at 5:30 and while the visibility at Palam was 100 metres.

Flights delayed at Delhi airport

After the Delhi airport saw right flights being diverted on Monday between 6 am to 9 am, about 30 flights were delayed today due to fog and low visibility. This included several international flights.
