Dehradun-Pithoragarh air service begins

After some wait, the Dehradun-Pithoragarh regular air service of Heritage Aviation began on Friday. The director of Pantnagar airport who is also looking after the Nainisaini airport in Pithoragarh, SK Singh informed that the Pantnagar-Pithoragarh air service will also begin from September 16.

On Friday, Heritage Aviation began its service between Dehradun airport and Nainisaini airport in Pithoragarh. Making two trips, the nine-seater aircraft ferried 17 passengers from Pithoragarh to Dehradun and nine from Dehradun to Pithoragarh. According to the aviation company, this air service will now be operated regularly. The company also plans to bring a second aircraft for the service. The 26 passengers who availed of the service on the first day included Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN) chairman Kedar Joshi, labour advisory council head Shamsher Satyal and local residents.
