Def Minister to unveil foundation for 2 underpasses at IMA
The Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will virtually unveil the foundation stones for two underpasses to be constructed at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) here on September 28.
The function will be held in the presence of the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat at the IMA at 3:30 PM. The IMA commandant, lieutenant general JS Negi met the chief minister regarding this at the CM residence here on Saturday.
The CM stated that the Central Government had approved a sum of Rs 45 crore for the construction of two underpasses at IMA.
One of these tunnels will be to link the two campuses of the academy divided by the main road and the other will be for reaching the academy.
