Deactivate cockpit door locking system before leaving on completion of flight: Air India to crew
NEW DELHI: Air India has “reminded” its flight crew members to ensure that cockpit door locking system is deactivated before exiting the flight deck on completion of a flight.
The airline’s operations department on Monday (Nov 8) issued a circular to the effect after the crew of flight recently forgot to do so.
The aircraft maintenance engineer on ground later faced trouble in entering the cockpit for routine maintenance and inspection, say people in the know.
