DDA to levy lesser licence fee for pumps, CNG stations setting up EV charging points
In order to promote Electric Vehicles (EVs), the DDA on Wednesday decided to levy a lesser licence fee for petrol pumps and CNG gas stations setting up EV charging stations in the national Capital. The decision was taken at the authority meeting chaired by Lieutenant-Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Wednesday.
According to a senior DDA official, to promote green fuel and fight the menace of air pollution in the city, the authority had granted the approval to set up EV charging stations at already allotted DDA sites for petrol and diesel pumps and CNG stations.
“The licence fee per annum for the financial year 2022-23, for sites having a size of 1,080 sqm would be `53,00,475 for a petrol or diesel pump alone.
