Cyclone Fani damages Kakinada road
KAKINADA: Even before it made a landfall, clone Fani had, by Thursday, caused damage to the Kakinada-Uppada beach road that has been badly damaged in U. Kothapalli mandal near Kakinada coast of East Godavari.
With waves rising to a height of more than a metre, part of the road near SPGL company has been eroded. Sea water entered some villages including Pallepet, Rangampet, Mayapat-nam and others.
