CS: Finish road repairing work in rural, urban areas

Chief Secretary SR Mohanty has issued instructions to complete the work of repairing roads in rural and urban areas damaged due to excessive rains and flooding at many places in the state. The Chief Secretary said that the work of repairing roads should be started mandatorily between September 15 -20.

To begin the repair work from September 15, the concerned departments should make necessary preparations after completing procedural action. The Chief Secretary gave this instruction in a meeting held at the Mantralaya on Tuesday.

The Chief Secretary said that due to excessive rains and floods, roads have been damaged in urban and rural areas at many places in the state. He said that all the concerned departments should start repair work immediately after assessing the roads damaged due to excessive rains and floods.
