Covid halts Kullu bridge repair

The repair work on the concrete Bhootnath Bridge at Sarwari in Kullu, which was closed for vehicular traffic on January 6 last year after it developed cracks, has been delayed due to the Covid outbreak. The tender for the repair work was awarded to Freyssinet, a French company, in December last year and the repair was targeted to be completed by May. A budget of Rs 2.68 crore had been allocated for the work.
