COVID: Delhi Airport handles 100 air ambulance movements in a month

Delhi airport today said that it has registered nearly 100 air ambulance movements during the past one month, as Indians are opting for medical charter flights to carry their loved ones that has contributed to growth in private jet movements in the country.

“With around 12 aircrafts currently permitted to operate from the airport, nearly 100 movements of COVID positive patients have been registered during the past month. These aircraft are available with medevac operations,” Delhi airport said.
