Covid-19 lockdown: NHAI to suspend toll collections till 14 April

NEW DELHI: The road transport and highways ministry has asked the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to suspend toll collections across the country until 14 April during the 21-day lockdown period.

Maintenance of roads and availability of emergency services at toll plazas will, however, continue.

The lockdown is effective 25 March and was announced to contain the spread of novel coronavirus infection.
