Coronavirus: India says has not suspended flights from China
NEW DELHI : India on Thursday said it had not suspended any flights from coronavirus hit China but added that Indian airlines were free to take their own decisions on the matter.
Indian foreign ministry spokesman Raveesh Kumar also said the suspension of visas and e-visas were for those Chinese nationals and people residing in the Chinese mainland and not for those from Hong Kong or other areas.
Kumar also clarified that Chinese diplomats posted in India were not subject to the visa or e-visa embargos given that their visas were dealt with through different process governed by diplomatic protocol.
