Construction of waste to energy plant likely to start in a month

In a piece of good news for the people of the city, the long-awaited waste to energy plant is likely to come up soon. It is learnt that a majority of the formalities for its construction has been cleared and it is likely that the construction of the plant would start in a month.

Speaking about the matter, the project manager of Ramky, the Chennai-based company, entrusted with it, Mohit Dwivedi said, “We are almost in the final phase of constructing the waste to energy plant. Recently, we had a meeting with the officials from the Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) during which everything has been discussed and fixed.
