Cong’s protest over power, water crisis tomorrow
Delhi Congress has planned to take to the streets in protest against the power and water shortage in the national Capital. The party workers under leadership of party working presidents Haroon Yusuf, Rajesh Lilothia and Devender Yadav will demonstrate in all the 70 Assembly constituencies in Delhi on June 18.
Hitting out at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led Delhi Government, Haroon Yusuf said that the AAP Government has not taken any serious steps to address these issues and the government has failed to address these problems in the Capital.
“All the Residents welfare associations of Delhi, who were a part of Bhagidari scheme during the congress regime and those who were not will also be invited to join in the Congress demonstrations in all the 70 Assembly constituencies in Delhi,” said Haroon Yusuf, DPCC working president. He further said not only there is shortage of water but also the water being supplied is unfit for the consumption.
