‘Cong to provide free 200-unit electricity if in power’
The Congress would provide 200 units free electricity if voted to power in the 2024 elections. Besides there would be a lot more social security and welfare schemes benefiting all sections including woman, youth and senior citizen, said State Congress president Sarat Pattanayak while addressing a gathering here at ITI field during its ‘Jan Sampark Abhiyan’ of the party on Wednesday.
Pattnayak asserted that Congress fulfills what it commits. In Baleswar, several industries came up in the nineties during the regime of then Chief Minister JB Patnaik. Buy today several of them have been closed including large scale industries like Birla Tyres and Balasore Alloys as they went sick and workers are jobless, he said.
