Conduct study on using legacy waste for road work: Court

Kochi: A special bench of the high court on Friday asked the state to conduct a feasibility study on using legacy waste at Brahmapuram for road construction.

Issuing oral instructions while hearing online responses from LSGD secretary Sarada Muraleedharan and Ernakulam collector N S K Umesh, the bench sought details on biomining being done at Brahmapuram.

The court inquired about the corporation’s proposal to treat biowaste reaching at the yard using black soldier flies.
