Commercial LPG rate drops by 92.5 in city
Mumbai: The price of LPG commercial cylinder dropped by Rs 92.50 a cylinder in the city, bringing cheer to the hotel industry. In Mumbai, the 19-kg LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 1,844 instead of Rs 1,936.50 .
Hoteliers, caterers and other commercial users will benefit from this second dip in prices in a month. On August 3, the rate of the 19-kg cylinder had reduced Rs 36. Its price had then dipped from Rs 1,972.50 to Rs 1936.50.
The price of domestic gas cylinders, which witnessed a hike in July, however, remain unchanged this month as well. The price of a 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder is Rs 1,052.50 at city retail outlets.
