Vehicular movement on Marine Drive will be affected for five months, as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will begin constructing a storm water drain network as part of the Mumbai Coastal Road Project (MCRP).
Confirming the development, civic body officials said the drain is being built as part of the final phase of MCRP and will take approximately five months to complete. Officials said this outfall will collect and discharge accumulated rainwater during monsoon. “The construction will be taken up on the north-bound arm of Marine Drive.
