Coal stock position will be comfortable after monsoon

Coal stocks at power plants will be in a comfortable position post-monsoons this year and a crisis like last year’s is unlikely, Coal India NSE 0.19 % chairman Pramod Agrawal said in an exclusive interview with ET.

At the beginning of August, power plants had 30 million tonnes (mt) of stocks, he said.
