Coal India Ltd fell 2.76% today to trade at Rs 181.7. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 0.04% to quote at 21275.73. The index is up 3.6 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Hindalco Industries Ltd decreased 0.78% and NMDC Ltd lost 0.23% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 52.02 % over last one year compared to the 8.63% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
