Coal India Foundation Day-2022 celebrated in CMPDI
CMPDI celebrates 48th Coal India Limited (CIL) Foundation Day on Tuesday in front of old building premises, CMPDI. Director(T/RD&T), CMPDI, R.N. Jha, began the celebrations by unfurling the CIL flag, followed by singing of CIL Corporate Song. The occasion was graced by S.K. Gomasta, Director (T/CRD); Ajay Kumar, Director (T/P&D); Sumeet Kumar Sinha, C.V.O.; A.K. Rana, Sr. Advisor (Mining); Jayant Chakraborty, RD, RI-3 and all G.M /HODs, JCC Member, Representative of CMOAI, Employees and their family members.
RN Jha in his speech said that since its inception in 1975, coal production in CIL has increased manifold from 79 Million Tonne to 622 Million Tonne in 2021-22 for which CMPDI has played an important role from identification of coal blocks to detailed drilling,
