CNG rate down Rs 3/kg and piped cooking gas price by Rs 2 per unit in Mumbai Metropolitan Region
MUMBAI: Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) will reduce CNG and piped cooking gas prices from Monday, an official said on Sunday. The official announced reduction in CNG price by Rs 3/kg and domestic piped cooking gas by Rs 2 per unit in Mumbai metropolitan region which includes Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai. The revised MRP of CNG will be Rs 76 /kg and domestic PNG Rs 47 per unit effective from October 2.
This will be good news for nearly 10 lakh CNG vehicle users in Mumbai metropolitan region, including over 4 lakh private car owners and a huge fleet of public transport like autos, taxis and buses on city roads running on the green fuel. The new rates will come as a relief to auto-taxi and school bus drivers.
