CM sanctions development work in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi dist
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday sanctioned Rs 42 crore for the construction of eight major roads and Rs 9 crore to repair 16 existing roads in the newly-formed Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district.
On the occasion of International Day of World’s Indigenous Peoples, Baghel interacted with the public representatives and beneficiaries of the district via video conferencing and took note of their demands and grievances.
He immediately sanctioned various development works.
The announcement about the formation of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district was made on August 15, 2019 and on February 10 this year it was constituted. He said soon all administrative services will begin in the district.
