CM reviews road revamp work with PWD
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal chaired a high-level review meeting at Delhi Secretariat on Friday regarding roads being revamped in State on lines of European countries. During this meeting, Kejriwal directed officials to complete pilot project by August 2022. Under the pilot project, the Kejriwal Government is redeveloping seven roads of 32.5 km length to European levels. In this way, the Kejriwal Government will redevelop a total of 540 kms of roads in Delhi and take them up to standards of European countries. The Tourism Department of Delhi Government has also been engaged for beautification of these roads. The tourism department is developing roadside greenery and other facilities on lines of countries like Dubai, Singapore, London which are renowned for their landscaping.
