CM inaugurates development works, announces several more
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat inaugurated two schemes of the Irrigation department costing Rs 7.64 crore at Kaluwala in Dehradun on Sunday. These include renovation of Badowala canal at a cost of Rs 4.94 crore and expansion of the head of Jolly Grant canal at a cost of Rs 2.69 crore. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also announced various developmental works. These include renovation of Nathuwawala-Balawala-Miyawala canal service road, renovation of Sankri and Ghudwala canals, flood protection works at Rajivnagar Keshavpuri settlement near Saung river, tubewell construction for irrigation in Kaluwala, construction of internal roads in Kaluwala, construction of park on vacant land near Kaluwala temple and construction of a martyrs gate at the entrance to Kaluwala area. The chief minister also honoured family members of martyrs on the occasion.
