CM bats for resolving issues at Badkagaon project

Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday said locals at Barkagaon in Hazaribagh district, who have been displaced due to coal mining by NTPC have several demands and the MLA of the Constituency Amba Prasad has been bringing their concerns before the Government regularly.

I had told earlier that there is some excavated coal lying at the site, which is prone to catching fire and some untoward incident may take place. Coal mining has started and some coal has also been excavated. Since mining was at halt for long and there were demands of local people, in the first phase report some issues have come out including increase in the compensation, annuity related issues, shifting of homes etc.
