CIL to produce 710 MT coal in current FY: Pralhad Joshi
NEW DELHI: Coal India LimitedNSE -0.43 % (CILNSE 4.76 %) will produce 710 million tonnes (MT) of coal in the current financial years and the company’s coal offtake target will be at the same level.
CIL’s pithead stock was at 75 MT as on March 31. The company closed fiscal 2019-20 with coal production of 602.14 MT, against the target of 660 MT.
Coal minister Pralhad Joshi set these targets for the state-run company while reviewing its performance through video conference on Wednesday, an official statement said.
