The Coal India Limited (CIL) Chairman Pramod Agarwal on Saturday hinted at a hike in coal prices after discussion with stakeholders such as Central Coalfield Limited, Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL). He held a review meeting with the stakeholders during his visit to the State.
Agarwal first of all chaired a review meeting of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) at its headquarters in Ranchi on Saturday. The agenda of the meeting was to increase supply of coal to the power plants, situated in various states of the country. He also reviewed the implementation of the ERP in the company so that the stakeholders get benefitted from this new system.
